Hit of Ram Chandra Series

I recently brought this new book named Scion of Ikshvaku. i found it interesting and thought of sharing it with my friends. this book explains beautifully the great of indian culture. I strongly recomend this book to all.

Ram Rajya. The Perfect Land. But perfection has a price. He paid that price.
3400 BCE. INDIA
Ayodhya is weakened by divisions. A terrible war has taken its toll. The damage runs deep. The demon King of Lanka, Raavan, does not impose his rule on the defeated. He, instead, imposes his trade. Money is sucked out of the empire. The Sapt Sindhu people descend into poverty, despondency and corruption. They cry for a leader to lead them out of the morass. Little do they appreciate that the leader is among them. One whom they know. A tortured and ostracised prince. A prince they tried to break. A prince called Ram.
He loves his country, even when his countrymen torment him. He stands alone for the law. His band of brothers, his Sita, and he, against the darkness of chaos.
Will Ram rise above the taint that others heap on him? Will his love for Sita sustain him through his struggle? Will he defeat the demon Lord Raavan who destroyed his childhood? Will he fulfil the destiny of the Vishnu?
Begin an epic journey with Amish’s latest: the Ram Chandra Series.

Review

Amish Tripathi s latest, Scion of Ikshvaku is book one in the Ram Chandra Series. I remember approaching The Shiva Trilogy series with very limited knowledge of Lord Shiva s mythology and heroic tales. So every page there was an amazing revelation that I absolutely enjoyed. But as I am well aware of the Ramayan, I began to read the Scion of Ikshvaku with a haughty sense, assuming I would know all the events that would transpire. But at the end of the book, I was so glad to realize that my false notions were disapproved. On the surface we have the loved (Ram, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrugan) and despised (Queen Kaikeyi, Manthara, Raavan) characters of the Ramayan. But all these familiar characters are introduced in unfamiliar ways and thrust in unique situations making every chapter riveting. References to Meluha and Somras were a beautiful throwback to the Shiva Trilogy. Also as in the Shiva Trilogy, the battle sequences were meticulously detailed. The plotline involving sages Vashishta and Vishwamitra and Nagas were unnerving to read and I look forward to unearthing the mystery through the remaining books in the series. There was one particular plot about a very traumatic rape incident that was very revolting. But the ultimate justice meted out to the perpetrators, though horrific, seemed very apt and I wish such justice existed in our real world as well! It s going to a long wait to the next book in the series, but it will certainly be well worth the wait. --By Sharanya K C on 28 June 2015, On Amazon India

140 Character : No More Limit

Is Twitter really removing the 140 character limit.           Hopefully Twitter is really going to remove this hurdle in front of there users by removing the 140 character limit in June at least from the private messages but limit for the tweet is going to stay as it is.          According to a website  seventeen.com  the new limit is going to be set upon 10000 characters.  The set up is taking place and is going to be out and ready to be use in July. Why the 140 character limit was there?           In the early years when twitter was not in the picture and was not yet started some undergraduates thought of starting a SMS service which then grew  into today's Twitter. As the SMS do have constraints about the number of characters Twitter came out with having a 140 character limits. Why no limit now?           Twitter had removed the limit now to keep up with there competitors like Whats App and Face Book. Both of them have no limits on number of chara
