Save Your Valuable Money

          I recently went to my nearest cinemas to watch a movie. I was alone in the whole 7 floor hostel for three consecutive days. On the fourth day at night I heard a knock at the door. I was not ready for any arrivals as it was Friday and we would have two holidays in front and nobody would like to come for two holidays. It was the time of 11 o’clock and I was writing a post when I was disturbed by that knock.

          I asked two times about who was it outside but nobody answered. I was using some work that is not allowed in our hostel. I quickly stopped my work and hid all the things. I got out of my blanket and went toward the door to check who was out. It was no one else and my roommate himself. I hugged him and smiled on his coming. I was very happy for his coming as I was living alone for that much time.

          Then we chatted for some more time with him. He told about his parents his family members and his beloved brother. He told me about their well-being and told me some other responses that his family had given to him. He put his bags on the table and started arranging his things. He was putting things inside his Almirah and was chatting with me too.

          Our result was announced two days ago and he asked me about mine. I told him that it was good and asked about his result. Then he told me about his that it was okay although he had received at least fifty numbers more than me and I was saying that my result was good and he was saying that his was okay. I do not like people who say that their result was just okay whether they might had got full marks.

          Then after little chat he went to sleep and I started typing for my next post. I completed it after some time and then I went to sleep. I was only able to get up late in the morning. I went to the mess to eat breakfast. I ate it with my roommate. After it he told me that he had not paid the college fees so he has to take some money out of the ATM.

          We got up to our room and he took his ATM cards and he asked me to take my bag to keep the money. I took it and we got out of the college to bring money from there. He took some money out from his bank account and put it inside the bag and handed over to me. I took the bag and we started to come toward the hostel.

           While coming toward the hostel we saw that a fair was going to be organised in the college ground in which different games were played between the students of different schools who had arrived there for this fair. We went toward the ground and sat over the grass to see the arrangements taking place over there.

          DJ system was installed on which various songs of Bollywood were being played. There was a registration corner where all the teams were being registered. We sat there for some time and then we decide to return to the hostel and we asked someone about when this was going to be started. He told us that it will start only after lunch time.

          We went back to our room and I started to think about a topic to write about on the blog. I was still thinking when I saw the clock it was the time we had to go to have lunch. We again went to mess to have lunch. Both of us had good lunch. He was still telling me about his village and what his father had said to him.

          At the lunch he introduced me with one of his friend who doing the same course from our college that he was doing. Course was same but branch was different. My subjects were different and his subjects were different. We went out of the college to change our moods. But we didn’t have much to do so we returned back soon.

          As we were going toward the hostel we saw that the games had started. We were not able to resist watching the small children playing. So, all three of us decided to go over there to see it. The ground was filled with a number of children and they all were cheering their classmates. When we reached there long jump event was taking place in the category of under 14.

          Small children were jumping from a line. A qualifying line was marked and who jumps ahead of it qualifies for the next round. Some of the students cleared the first round and entered the next or final round. Final round took place after sometime in which a girl from nearest school won the first prize.

          We went to the other side where 100 meter race was taking place between boys of category under 17. Qualifying round took place and then finally final round took place in which a boy from same school won the gold medal. He was very happy to win the first prize. No one was near to him when he finished.

          He was given award by the chief guest of the event. I don’t recognise the chief guest. He was not a well-known personality. The same boy took the award and came back to ground where long jump event was taking place. He won the first prize again. He was happy again and again he was awarded by the chief guest.

          We were very bored of various games that were taking place over there. So we decided to return to our room. When we were rising the stairs one from said, “Let’s go to watch a movie.” Both of us agreed to him and after I took bath, we started to move toward city cinemas.

          We had not decided about which movie to watch, we had only decided that we will watch that movie whose show may be compatible with our hostel timings. We reached the cinemas in half an hour. We took some photos out of the cinema and then we got inside to watch the movie.

          We reached there at 4 o’clock and we had a show at 4:20 for a south Indian movie. So, we decided to watch the movie as it was the only timing that was compatible with our hostel timings. We got inside, found our seats and settled down.

          Movie begins soon and we started enjoying the movie. Movie had everything in it i.e. story, love, drama, suspense, fun, action and overall was a great movie. we got back to our hostel the next day and after some days we again went to the same cinemas to watch another movie but this time our money was wasted. The movie was not that good.So,to save your money do check the movie reviews on various websites.
