Finally 1993 Mumbai bomber hanged

The 1993 Mumbai bombing accused was hanged till death on 30th July in a jail at a prison in central India. He was hanged on the same date as his birthday. This was probably the worst birthday gift any person might had received. He was accused as being the middleman for the 1993 Mumbai terror attack in which 257 people were killed. It was believed that he had had arranged financing, travelling and many other things in the attack.

Yakub Memon was once named as best chartered accountant by the Memon community. It was his 53 rd birthday on July 30th.

In 1993 a series of bombs exploded in various parts of Mumbai including Many of crowded areas of Mumbai. Te bombing was done in the areas like:-

  • Bombay Stock exchange

  • A movie theater

  • Air India building

  • At various other hotels
According to the militants it was the revenge of destruction of an Muslim Mosque by a mob of Hindu people who wanted to construct a temple in that place. This action by a Hindu mob led to widespread riots in various parts of India leading to deaths of more than a 1000 people and many of them were Muslims.

In the last days of yakub Memon execution it was a worth talking weather the person like him deserved to die or not. Many of the Muslim leaders tried to take advantage of the situation and demanded plea for him.

Asaduddin Owaisi, a Muslim member of India’s Parliament   also said that Yakub did not deserved capital punishment. Even one of the superstar of Indian cinema- Salman Khan came into the picture by twitting that Yakub is facing damages because of Tiger(Yakub's Elder brother).

Never the less Yakub was finally hanged after so many controversies going around in the environment of India. Now its time to control the people who take advantage of these kind of situations. No matter Hindu or Muslim or any other religion we follow we have to come together in this difficult situation.

So many people are around us who want to divide us but we should not let them divide us in any way. The decision of hanging Yakub had given a right answer to all the militants that India is strictly against the terrorism. We must stand with the Indian government to sweep away the terrorism from our country.

I Support Narendra Modi posted something very beautiful about the issue over the social networking site Facebook.

I read somewhere that terrorists do not usually take Russian folks as hostages. This is because of two reasons. One, Russians do not care much about well-being of their own citizens (which is pretty bad, to be honest!) so, they don't negotiate with terrorists. And second, once they figure who the terrorists are, Russians actively pursue family members of these terrorists. Terrorists do not care about their lives but they definitely care about their relatives. Boom...Russians hit terrorists where it hurts! Is it fair? No. Is it ethical? No. Does it affect innocent people? Yes but is it effective? Absolutely yes.
Indians are absolutely opposite. No, we don't care about well being of our nationals, unless that 'national' is a politicians or his/her kin. But we are hell bent on not harming terrorists. We care so deeply about them terrorists and their family members that we run trials for decades, pay for their food, shelter and medical expenses. And ultimately do not punish them. What if Yakub Memon played role in killing 257 people......those 257 lives be damned....we cannot harm Yakub Memon.
Shame on us!

140 Character : No More Limit

Is Twitter really removing the 140 character limit.           Hopefully Twitter is really going to remove this hurdle in front of there users by removing the 140 character limit in June at least from the private messages but limit for the tweet is going to stay as it is.          According to a website  seventeen.com  the new limit is going to be set upon 10000 characters.  The set up is taking place and is going to be out and ready to be use in July. Why the 140 character limit was there?           In the early years when twitter was not in the picture and was not yet started some undergraduates thought of starting a SMS service which then grew  into today's Twitter. As the SMS do have constraints about the number of characters Twitter came out with having a 140 character limits. Why no limit now?           Twitter had removed the limit now to keep up with there competitors like Whats App and Face Book. Both of them have no limits on number of chara
